The most common method of wearing a sari is to wrap it around the waist, make pleats in the front and drape the final length around the shoulder. The sari is worn with a choli, A choli is a tightly fitted, short blouse. |

| The ghagra is very similar to a skirt with sewn-in pleats secured at the waist with the length up to the ankles. This is also made of cotton, silk or synthetic. This is also worn with a choli. |

| Sherwani is a long coat-like garment, worn by men, especially in South Asia, fitted close to the body, of knee-length or longer and opening in front with button-fastenings. Often, It is worn over the Kurta and Churidar, Khara pajama, a shalwar; baggy and wide at the top tied with a string at the waist , and tight around the legs and ankles. It is a very stylish & elegant dress for the men and mostly worn during ceremonies. |

| The Kurta or the top is a knee length loose collarless shirt which is adorned in mostly white or pastel colors, worn by many people in the Indian subcontinent. But in today’s scenario, you will find Kurtas made out of the most colorful and wonderful fabrics. This resembles to a top and is also known as Kurti. Pyjama is a baggy drawstring trouser, with a string tie at the waist, worn traditionally with a Kurta/ Kurti, most often worn by men and women in some Asian countries. |
